Cast Tech Case Study
Situation: CAST Tech High School, a San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) in-district charter, is the first hi-tech school of its kind in San Antonio located in the heart of the city’s technology district. The school is the first in a network of industry-led, career-themed high schools known collectively as CAST (Centers for Applied Science and Technology), which H-E-B plans to establish across San Antonio in partnership with other industry partners and local school districts. Marketing efforts effectively educated the community about the school’s innovative approach to learning and to assist with recruiting applicants for CAST Tech’s first class of 9th grade students.
Strategy: The marketing strategy was developed and managed to includ a robust social media marketing campaign across all CAST Tech social media channels, and the development of all creative elements.
Impact: CAST Tech exceeded its goal for year-one enrollment and paved the way for additional CAST school launches to follow.
